Diesel engine pellet mill (without electric starter) start procedures

• Turn the speed controlling handle of diesel pellet mill to the position of “start”.
• Put start handle into the hole of starting shaft, press down the decompression handle by your right hand, and shake the start handle until you hear the normal diesel engine jet sounds.
• Shake quickly, when the flywheel gets enough energy, release the decompression handle quickly and continue shaking at full tilt, then the diesel engine pellet mill will start to work.
• Once the diesel engine starts, the start handle will automatically disengaged and slid out relying on the force of the helical bevel of the start shaft hole, continue griping the start handle and pull back the start handle in time in order to avoid the accidents.

Diesel engine pellet mill (with electric starter) start procedures

• Turn the speed controlling handle of diesel pellet mill to the position of “start”.
• Turn the circuit key to the gear “Ⅰ”， at this time the battery is connected to the starter, then turn to gear “Ⅱ”, the starter gear is pushed into the gear ring to mesh with it, and drive the flywheel to rotate, the diesel engine finally start.
• After the diesel engine starts, the key must be back to gear “Ⅰ” at once.

Operation notice of diesel engine pellet mill

If the diesel engine pellet mill will run for a long time, is should be fixed on a cement foundation. If the operation place is often change, the diesel engine and pellet mill should be installed on a base made of steel.

• If the pellet mill adopts diesel engine, the power of it should be matched with that of hammer mill, that means that the power of diesel engine pellet mill should be a little high than the power of hammer mill engine, make sure the pulley grooves of two belts identical, outer surface of the belt is on the same panel.
• After installation of the diesel engine pellet mill, fasteners must be inspected for the tightening condition. It must be tightened once it is loose.
• Check whether the tightness of belt is appropriate, whether the diesel engine shaft and the pellet mill shaft are parallel.
• Before run the diesel engine pellet mill, turn the rotor with your hands first, check whether the jaw, hammer and rotor are flexible and reliable, whether there are any collision phenomena in the shell of the pellet mill, whether the rotation of the rotor is consistent with the direction indicated by the overhead arrow, whether the diesel engine and pellet mill are lubricated well.
• Do not change the belt pulley freely in case the speed is too high to cause an explosion in the crushing chamber, or effect the working efficiency  because of the low speed.
• Let the pellet mill run for 2-3 minutes without material in the machine, after ensure that there is no abnormal phenomenon, then feed raw material to the machine.
• Before use your diesel engine pellet mill, please remember to add oil into the filler, and add antifreeze in the water tank inlet.
