Problems and solutions of straw pellet press in the process of pellets production

Now I introduce some frequently encountered problems and corresponding solutions during the process of pellets production.

1. Straw pellet fuels bend. The reason is that the moisture content of raw materials is too big.
2. Inverse gas. The concrete embody is that feed opening outward spouts gas, which is mainly because of the insufficiency of raw materials feeding, and possibly because of excessive moisture of raw material or insufficient heating temperature.
3. There is light on the section of the pellet fuel, the density is good but the hardness is poor. The solution is that sanding the initial position of first screw and making it more smoothly.
4. The center of pellet fuel is small in density or contains scattered powders. This is because of the abrasion of root diameter at propeller shaft tip, you can weld to thicken. The problem is also caused by improper alignment of the shaft tip, which needs to be corrected at high temperature.
5. Surface crack. When the moisture of raw material is too large, the pellets easily form transversal crack. On the contrary, the pellets easily form longitudinal crack if the moisture is too little. In addition, excessive heating temperature also results in crack initiation, the general solution is to increase the spiral diameter properly or polish the spiral wall.
6. Straw pellet press “fires a gun”. The reasons are as follows, such as improper temperature control, excessive moisture of raw material, abrasion of propeller, improper shaft tip, and exhaust plug etc. In the case, you can find the real reason according to these reasons and make corresponding adjustments.
7. Pellets cannot be squeezed out. The heating temperature is too big or too low, the attrition of straw pellet press is extremely serious, and the moisture of raw materials is too large. All of these may be the case.
8. “Staff car”. If raw materials have larger and hard impurities, you need to stop the machine for cleaning impurities. If raw materials are not dry, they need to be dried again.
