Procedures of making pellets at home with small pellet plant

We all know that burn the waste directly is environmentally-unfriendly, but it is contrast to the pellets made by pellet press. Among our small mobile pellet press, there is a hammer mill which can  crush of grain, crops, Chinese medicine herbs, straw, tubers, forage, wood chips, corn, sorghum, rice, soybeans etc. Before proceeding to the next procedure, the size of raw materials must be considered because of the limited flat die diameter of pellet press. The length of 3-5mm is desired, so crushing raw materials is one of the most necessary procedures. 

After crushing, the raw materials are suitable to be pressed into pellets with our pellet mill. While there is also one problem should be put into consideration, that is the suitable moisture content. You can leave your raw material in the sun to dry naturally which can lower your investment and it is convenient. Be sure the moisture content is approximately 10-20%, which is the most perfect humidity. Otherwise it’s different to be pelletized into pellets if the moisture content is too low, and if too high, the finish pellets will not be burned sufficiently and easily to release much ash. 

Our core and key procedure is pelletizing. In our small mobile pellet plant, the pellet press is pellet mill with electric motor substantially. But there are two different types of it, namely R-type and D-type. They have different working principles, for D-type, the roller is fixed and the flat die is rotating with the main shaft, while for R-type is on the contrary. But the communicant principle is that put the raw material into the hopper of pellet mill, then the roller and die extruding each other, to the extent that press the material into the holes of the die to finish the pellets. All of our electric motor has the CE certification. We can meet the various requirements of capacity range from 60kg/h to 800kg/h. The pellets should be cooled, because we are the homemade pellet plant, so we can just put the pellets on the ground and let the sunshine to illuminate them naturally. If necessary, we can offer cooler for you. 

Sometimes, you maybe make so many pellets once and they can’t be used up at a time, so under the circumstances, you should brain storm that how to store them. The most simple way is put them in the plastic bags and seal them, be sure to store the bags in a dry place to prevent from mould and moist.
